In-progress pics of my 6th graders pinch pot bird rattles. I’m obsessed.
I’m adding this new colored pencil tutorial to my “what do I do when I’m finished?!” folder.
👁 never get tired of this lesson.
My sixth graders are making these contour portraits using styrofoam printmaking! I have a group of students this year that are very interested in drawing portraits. Contour drawing is my go-to for teaching observational drawing and I LOVE watching their confidence grow as they practice this technique.
If you are looking for a successful clay experience, I highly recommend trying these pinch pot bird rattles!
A closer look at yesterday’s printmaking post!
