This painting started out as blobs or color and somehow turned into a wreath of birds. I originally thought I’d make this into a botanical painting but the birds just sprung to life.

One minute straight of pulling prints! I tried to capture the magic as much as possible during our printmaking unit. Detailed lesson in bio💛
The chaos of AP submissions has finally cleared, and I want to share what my Art II students were up to while I was biting my fingernails in an AP panic.
Figure drawing time! We have been practicing basic proportions and standing poses using setpose.com. I love seeing students confidence and creativity blossom. Our final artwork will be a mixed media piece
Every moment of listening to @quirkyrican Gabby Rivera speak was absolute joy. The room was saturated with passion and positivity, she is such an inspiring person. @naea_arteducators #naeaconference #naeaconvention
@latoya_ruby_frazier was a dynamic speaker and started the conference off beautifully.
